Industrial Painter - Summary
- Apply protective and decorative coatings to wood doors and related products to enhance durability, appearance, and resistance to wear.
- Work with a diverse range of wood and laminate materials utilized in commercial and residential construction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality completion of each project.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare wood surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, and necessary pre-treatment processes.
- Mix and match paints accurately to meet customer specifications and project requirements.
- Apply paint coatings using spray guns and other specialized tools with precision and consistency.
- Inspect finished products for quality, uniformity, and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain paint equipment, ensuring regular cleaning and proper functioning.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations regarding materials handling and work areas.
- Document work processes and maintain accurate records of projects and outcomes.
- Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines and schedules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall production goals.
- Availability to work overtime as project demands require.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of relevant painting experience, including proficiency in color mixing and matching.
- Background in surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing processes preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work orders.
- Knowledge of spray-painting techniques and other application methods for wood materials.
- Capacity to perform in a fast-paced production environment.
