Duties & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex equipment issues, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical problems.
- Utilize multi-meters, hand tools, and computer systems for equipment diagnostics and repair.
- Perform electrical work including new service installations, troubleshooting, grounding, and repairs.
- Plan, layout, install, and repair advanced electrical equipment, including automatic machine and process controls.
- Interpret meters, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents to perform accurate repairs.
- Repair mechanical equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and conduct preventive maintenance on building systems.
- Participate actively in the continuous improvement process (CIP) to enhance facility operations.
- Work efficiently alone or as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of industrial mechanical and electrical experience or equivalent, with expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with three-phase electricity, PLCs, control wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong electrical background with an emphasis on controls and automation.
- Experience handling ESD-sensitive items is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as operational needs require.
- Technical school degree or relevant certification in mechanical/electrical fields preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and preferably experienced with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of polymer extrusion processes is a plus.
- Bilingual English-Spanish skills are advantageous.
- High school diploma or GED required.
