Industrial Maintenance Technician - Summary- Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment in an industrial setting.
- Work independently during assigned shifts, often as the sole technician present.
- Support production teams to maintain equipment reliability and safety.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records using CMMS software.

- Set up, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control circuits, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation using schematics and test equipment.
- Layout and install proper conduit and wiring types, read and write wiring diagrams for electrical circuits, controls, and panels.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on mechanical and pneumatic systems, including manufacturing and plant support equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Enter accurate and detailed reports for preventive maintenance and work orders in CMMS software.
- Engage in light fabrication and welding, operate machining equipment such as lathes and grinders as needed.
- Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial work platforms.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of specialized training in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Technology (via apprenticeships or technical/vocational programs).
- At least 2 years of hands-on industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of single-phase AC/DC control circuits and three-phase electricity up to 480VAC.
- Proficiency in using voltage meters, amperage meters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical maintenance skills, including experience with belt drives, gearboxes, electro-mechanical/pneumatic clutch assemblies, vacuum loading, blower systems, pumps, and water chillers.
- Experience with pneumatics and fluid power systems is required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, blueprints, and drawings.
- Ability to write detailed reports and utilize Microsoft Office applications.
- Mathematical proficiency in basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, and relevant calculations.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work at heights and safely operate relevant machinery and platforms.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently on evening shifts.
