As an Industrial AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing real-world AI deployments to life. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and integrating AI-powered vision systems into live manufacturing settings, frequently collaborating with client-side operations staff and leadership. This position is highly visible and customer-facing, requiring not only deep technical skill but also outstanding communication and project management abilities. You will be the primary technical point of contact for customer deployments, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing support of all solutions.

Industrial AI Engineer - Summary- Drive the deployment and integration of AI-driven computer vision and automation solutions in manufacturing settings
- Serve as the key technical liaison between client plant operations and modern cloud technologies
- Work with a fast-growing, innovative team dedicated to improving industrial safety and efficiency

- Deploy advanced AI-powered computer vision solutions within manufacturing facilities
- Install and configure edge computing devices, such as NVIDIA Jetson platforms
- Integrate AI systems with industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, OPC-UA, and Modbus
- Develop and maintain secure, reliable data pipelines between on-site environments and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
- Create and maintain deployment tooling using Python, Linux, and Docker
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, networking, and software in production environments
- Act as the primary technical contact for customer deployments, ensuring clear communication and support
- Manage project scope, technical expectations, and deployment timelines to deliver projects on schedule
- Conduct training sessions for plant operators, engineers, and personnel on deployed solutions
- Travel to customer sites across North America to support system implementations and provide onsite expertise

- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and infrastructure integration
- Proven experience deploying software directly into customer or client environments

- Willingness to travel approximately 25-50% to customer sites as needed
- Technically adept and highly motivated by hands-on engineering challenges
