Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficiently assemble large consumer products including outdoor equipment and furniture in retail environments.
- Utilize personal tools such as a cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen or hex bit sets, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter, and rubber mallet.
- Maintain punctuality by checking in on time at job sites, which is rewarded with higher commission rates.
- Document completed work using a smartphone for photos, scanning, and invoicing through the company app.
- Follow safety and assembly instructions to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Engage with store staff and customers in a professional manner as a representative of the assembly company.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically capable of lifting and assembling items weighing 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
- Own reliable personal transportation to travel to various job locations.
- Possess a smartphone with a working camera for job documentation and communication.
- Own a set of required tools, including an 18V cordless impact driver or drill, deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, multiple screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow assembly instructions accurately.
