Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble a variety of large retail products including grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, outdoor equipment, bikes, and storage sheds inside retail stores.
- Utilize your own tools and follow assembly instructions to ensure each item is built to manufacturer specifications and store standards.
- Check in on time at job sites and complete assigned builds within given deadlines.
- Use a smartphone to document completed work, scan items, and submit invoices via the company app.
- Maintain a high level of quality, safety, and attention to detail in all assembly tasks.
- Adhere to store policies and interact professionally with store staff and customers as needed.
- Prioritize punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.
Salary & Benefits
- Average earnings of $20 per hour, with top performers reaching $60 per hour equivalent (performance-based pay; paid per piece assembled).

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically capable of repeatedly lifting 50+ lbs and handling large-item assembly.
- Reliable personal transportation is required.
- Smartphone with a working camera for documentation and invoicing.
- Ownership of essential tools, including:
- 18V cordless impact driver or drill (strongly preferred)
- Deep metric sockets
- Allen/hex bit set
- Cutting pliers
- Multiple screwdrivers
- Adjustable wrench
- Box cutter/utility knife
- Rubber mallet
- Mechanically inclined, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
