Assembly Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture sets, wheelbarrows, outdoor storage sheds, and bikes inside retail locations.
- Utilize personal tools to efficiently and safely construct merchandise according to manufacturer and company specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and quality guidelines during assembly.
- Document completed assemblies using a smartphone app for photos, scanning, and invoicing.
- Maintain a punctual and reliable presence at assigned job sites.
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company support staff as needed.
- Ensure all products are assembled correctly and ready for customer use.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physically able to lift and move items weighing 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Possess reliable personal transportation to travel between job sites.
- Own a smartphone with a working camera for documentation and communication through the company app.
- Provide your own tools, including (but not limited to): cordless impact driver or drill (18V preferred), deep metric sockets, Allen/hex bit set, cutting pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, box cutter/utility knife, and rubber mallet.
- Mechanically inclined and able to follow assembly instructions accurately.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
