Identity and Access Management Engineer (IAM Engineer) - Summary
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of identity and authentication platforms across enterprise systems.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define platform strategies, prioritize enhancements, and achieve business objectives.
- Champion the adoption and integration of advanced IAM protocols and solutions to support secure access for all users.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce enterprise-wide authentication and identity operating standards.
- Manage and enhance PingFederate and PingDirectory platforms to provide comprehensive LDAP, SAML, and OAuth services.
- Advance resiliency and continuity of business operations through the evolution of Single Sign-On (SSO) and LDAP services.
- Support agile platform development by creating and maintaining roadmaps, architecture diagrams, user stories, technical wireframes, and comprehensive documentation.
- Present technical solutions and platform updates to partners and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements to optimize service quality and uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, well-integrated IAM solutions for web and mobile applications.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of five years' direct experience with Ping, LDAP, and directory structures.
- At least three years’ hands-on experience with PingFederate and PingDirectory or similar identity federation and directory solutions.
- Three years of experience working with Java Application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, Glassfish, or Apache Tomcat.
- Strong expertise in supporting authentication and identity systems using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and enhance service reliability and uptime.
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical documentation and platform architecture planning.
