ICU RN - Summary
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill individuals in the Intensive Care Unit
- Work across a clinical spectrum: post-cardiac surgery, neurosurgical recovery, acute medical/surgical complications

Duties & Responsibilities
- Comprehensive care for critically ill patients, including those with medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological needs
- Manage and titrate life-sustaining interventions such as vasoactive drips and mechanical ventilation
- Provide continuous hemodynamic monitoring and advanced patient assessment
- Recognize and rapidly respond to subtle and acute changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to execute complex care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Advocate for patient safety and best practices in critical care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain critical care competencies

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a Critical Care (ICU) environment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
