IBM i RPG Developer - Summary- Key contributor to the administration and development of IBM i (AS/400) systems
- Focused on troubleshooting production issues, enhancing system reliability, and optimizing legacy ERP solutions
- Works closely with teams to ensure financial and ERP applications run smoothly on both IBM i and Linux environments
- Integral part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team in a large, established organization
- Administer and maintain IBM i (AS/400) systems, ensuring optimal uptime and performance
- Develop and enhance applications using RPG programming to support business operations
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
- Enable and support the migration of IBM i applications to Linux platforms using Infinite i
- Work with Data Description Specifications (DDS) to maintain and update legacy database files, display screens, and printer files
- Participate in the evaluation and improvement of financial data processes within legacy ERP systems
- Provide expertise in integrating and supporting Infinium and other ERP/financial software environments
- Document technical procedures and participate in knowledge sharing with team members

- Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM i (AS/400) development and administration
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with RPG programming
- Proficient in Linux server environments and integration support
- Strong understanding of Data Description Specifications (DDS) for legacy systems maintenance
- Experience with financial/ERP software systems, with Infinium experience considered a significant plus
