HVAC/R Technician - Summary- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Ensures systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably for a broad spectrum of commercial and industrial clients.
- Acts as a key team member supporting SRV Temperature Solutions’ mission to provide exceptional service and client satisfaction.
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including rack systems, chillers, freezers, coolers, and rooftop units.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues accurately and provide effective solutions.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.
- Complete detailed service documentation, work orders, and reports with accuracy and clarity.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding system status, required repairs, and recommendations for ongoing maintenance.
- Stay up to date with advances in HVAC/R technology, tools, and best practices through ongoing training and self-development.

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in commercial HVAC/R service or a closely related field.
- Universal EPA Certification (required).
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rack systems, chillers, freezers, coolers, and rooftop units.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently manage service calls, and document work thoroughly.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and a commitment to ongoing learning and skill development.
