HVAC/R Service Technician - SummaryThe HVAC/R Service Technician at SRV Temperature Solutions is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our clients. The technician will ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of workmanship. Duties & Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, and rooftop units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure longevity and efficiency of equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly and complete accurate service documentation and work orders.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system repairs, recommendations, and performance updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve project goals and uphold company standards of excellence.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technologies and incorporate best practices into daily work.
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HVAC/R, with direct experience in commercial refrigeration preferred.
- Universal EPA Certification required.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, and rooftop units.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex commercial environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
