HVAC/R Service Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Service rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, rooftop units, and other related systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance and detailed system inspections on a routine basis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Complete accurate service documentation and work orders for all maintenance and repair activities.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet project goals and deliver exceptional client service.
- Stay current with industry technologies, best practices, and evolving equipment standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience working with HVAC/R systems, with a strong background in refrigeration preferred.
- Universal EPA Certification required for handling refrigerants.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, rack systems, chillers, freezers, coolers, and rooftop units.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in commercial and industrial environments.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
- Ability to work independently, manage service calls effectively, and document work accurately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
