HVAC Project Engineer About the RoleThe HVAC Project Engineer plays a crucial part in delivering comprehensive HVAC solutions for diverse client needs, including repairs, scheduled maintenance, system renovations, and energy retrofits. As an HVAC Project Engineer, you will work closely with project managers and service technicians to ensure the effective execution of projects and services. Key Responsibilities- Assist clients and project managers with estimating repairs, developing service agreements, and creating solutions tailored to specific project challenges.
- Support the project management process by communicating essential information to technicians and coordinating assigned accounts.
- Provide project design services within your expertise, subject to review and approval by senior staff.
- Deliver technical and estimating assistance to the service project manager, helping to ensure projects remain on time and within scope.
- Coordinate and schedule field activities in collaboration with dispatchers and service technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and communication.
- Respond promptly to field service quote requests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize service project coordinators to assist with purchasing, subcontractor management, and overall job setup and task management.
- Actively engage in all safety-related activities, fostering a safe working environment on every project and site.
- Participate in additional tasks and projects as periodically assigned by leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
