We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our in-person team in Centennial, CO. HVAC Lead Installer - Summary- Lead and execute complete heat pump system installations, from equipment removal to final customer walkthrough.
- Influence the development of new market operations and help refine company processes.
- Mentor and support junior installers, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and operations for process improvements.
- Provide a positive customer experience by communicating clearly and addressing homeowner questions.
- Perform full residential heat pump system installations, including safe removal of existing gas furnaces and AC units.
- Handle refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and charging procedures with precision and compliance.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installations.
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes, including up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes.
- Guide, train, and divide work among less experienced installers, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Set and maintain high standards for installation quality and safety, both individually and as a team leader.
- Ensure every job site is left clean and presentable, with all homeowner concerns addressed before completion.
- Proactively identify and resolve installation challenges, always seeking opportunities for process improvement.
- Follow OSHA Electrical Standard and OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure job site safety.

- Extensive experience installing residential HVAC systems, including work in varied and sometimes physically demanding environments (attics, crawlspaces, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading installation crews and supervising job site activities.
- Experience mentoring or training junior technicians in the field.
- Valid EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Solid knowledge of relevant building codes and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in refrigerant handling, including recovery, evacuation, and charging.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both customers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and diverse working conditions.
- Familiarity with heat pump and mini-split technologies is a plus.
- Strict adherence to OSHA Electrical Standard and OSHA Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
