As a HVAC Installer, you will play a pivotal role on the front lines of the clean energy transition. You will be responsible for executing high-quality heat pump system installations, ensuring homeowners are delighted with their new energy-efficient systems. Bringing your expertise in residential HVAC installation, you will remove outdated gas equipment and meticulously install modern heat pump systems, helping Jetson deliver on its promise of a better, more sustainable home environment.

- Install and commission high-efficiency heat pump systems in residential settings.

- Serve as a key representative of Jetson’s mission to deliver clean, reliable energy solutions.
- Perform complete heat pump system installations, including the safe removal of existing gas furnaces and air conditioning equipment.
- Ensure meticulous site preparation and cleanliness throughout the installation process.
- Conduct refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and accurate charging in compliance with industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams to execute precise installations and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes and ensure every installation meets compliance requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring homeowner satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve quality issues promptly, advocating for continuous process improvement.
- Maintain organized vehicles and workspaces, contributing to overall team efficiency.
- Collaborate with other installers and engineering teams to optimize installation protocols and share best practices.
- Adhere to OSHA Electrical and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards throughout all work performed.
- Competitive hourly wage: $28 - $36 per hour.

- Proven hands-on experience in residential HVAC installation, including work in varied environments such as attics and crawlspaces.
- Current HVACR license (required).
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required or in progress).
- Strong ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
- Solid understanding of local building codes and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in refrigerant handling, including recovery, evacuation, and charging.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Outstanding communication skills for interactions with customers and team members.
- Problem-solving orientation and adaptability in dynamic installation scenarios.
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy equipment and working in challenging conditions.
- Experience installing heat pumps or mini-split systems is a plus; training is available for those eager to learn.
