Job Summary: Decypher is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team and support payroll processing, HR operations, onboarding, basic IT coordination, and equipment/inventory management. This role requires a highly organized professional who can manage multiple responsibilities, ensure compliance, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associates degree in business, accounting or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, accounting, or related field preferred

- ???Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration
- Execute five payroll cycles per month (semi-monthly and monthly schedules as applicable)
- Process payroll accurately, including verification of hours, deductions, and withholdings
- Maintain and update payroll records in HRIS and payroll systems
- Review and implement state, city, and county tax updates
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws (multi-state knowledge required)
- Prepare payroll reports for management review
- Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries
- Conduct periodic payroll audits for accuracy and compliance
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee preboarding and onboarding process
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS
- Execute annual training programs and track expired documentation (including regulatory requirements such as TJC)
- Assist with employee separations and termination processing in HRIS
- Conduct audits of HR programs including payroll, benefits, learning & development, and retirement programs
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries as assigned by the HR Manager
- IT & Equipment Support
- Provision equipment for new hires (corporate and contract staff)
- Track, ship, and recover company equipment post-employment
- Maintain equipment inventory and tracking systems
- Provide basic IT troubleshooting and support
- Assist employees with system access, including Decypher software access setup
- Skills & Competencies:

Work Environment & Schedule: Full time on-site with potential for hybrid schedule.
Physical requirements: Required to lift 20-25 lbs independently. Position requires long periods of sitting in an office setting.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range $65,000 to $78,500 per year, based on qualifications, education, and relevant experience. Details about our benefits package will be shared during interview process.
