HR Specialist - Summary
- Serve as a central point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries.
- Support all phases of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, I-9 verification, benefits administration, HRIS updates, and offboarding.
- Maintain and enhance internal HR documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners.
- Troubleshoot HR-related issues and escalate as needed for prompt resolution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage HR inquiries and requests from employees and managers through an HR ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes, including document verification and orientation for new hires.
- Conduct I-9 verification and ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and general inquiries.
- Update and maintain employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and final documentation.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve HR issues, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
- Maintain and update HR knowledge articles, internal guides, and policy documentation.
- Partner with various HR teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality employee experience.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in HR operations, shared services, or HR administration.
- Proficient in benefits administration, onboarding, I-9 verification, and offboarding processes.
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, or ADP.
- Experience managing HR cases or responding to employee inquiries via ticketing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
