The HR Business Partner Lead (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) plays a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives for a leading Fortune 500, multi-unit organization. This full-time position, based in Minneapolis, MN or Bloomington, MN, offers a dynamic hybrid work schedule, enabling employees to balance on-site collaboration with remote flexibility. As an HR Business Partner Lead, you will be integral to supporting over 50 locations throughout the region, ensuring the organization’s HR practices drive operational excellence, employee engagement, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
In this high-impact HR Business Partner Lead (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) role, you will work closely with both regional and store leadership teams, providing expert consultation and hands-on support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning. The successful candidate will drive initiatives that foster an inclusive, values-oriented workplace culture, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across all levels of the organization.
This position collaborates extensively with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver robust talent development programs, oversee competitive compensation and benefits planning, and implement enterprise-wide DEI initiatives. You will leverage your analytical skills to interpret HR metrics, identify trends, and influence key business decisions, while also ensuring adherence to company policies and state/federal employment laws. As the regional subject matter expert, you will guide leadership in complex HR matters—including headcount planning, staffing, and change management—to support the organization’s growth and retention goals.
Applicants for the HR Business Partner Lead (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) role should possess a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 8 years’ progressive HR experience, ideally within multi-unit or field-based environments.
