In addition to preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents, Housekeepers are tasked with maintaining the cleanliness of all common areas, including leasing offices, hallways, stairwells, and shared amenities. This role involves routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a healthy and welcoming environment for everyone. You will play a pivotal role in the upkeep of property grounds, removing trash and debris to enhance the overall appearance and safety of the community.
Housekeepers also take on important responsibilities related to inventory and supply management. You will assist with tracking, stocking, and organizing cleaning supplies to ensure that all necessary materials are on hand for daily operations. Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management is essential, as it helps maintain the quality and safety of the property for residents, guests, and fellow team members. Following established company standards and safety protocols at all times is a key expectation in this role.
We are looking for individuals with previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally in apartment communities, hotels, or similar environments. However, we also value candidates who demonstrate a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a positive attitude. Time management and organizational skills are essential, as you will need to efficiently prioritize and complete a variety of cleaning tasks throughout your shift. Physical stamina is important, as the position requires lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that involve standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
