Optigy is actively seeking a highly qualified Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity. As a Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO), you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality inpatient medical services. The position requires cross-credentialing at several nearby facilities, allowing for a breadth of clinical experiences. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with nursing, ancillary staff, and consulting specialists to ensure seamless and effective patient management. Accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) is critical to maintaining continuity of care and compliance with hospital policies.

This locum tenens position offers a flexible schedule with the expectation of covering both day and night shifts. Physicians must be comfortable performing common hospitalist procedures and responding promptly to rapid response or code situations. The starting date is scheduled for August 19, 2025, with an estimated credentialing period of 60 days. There is no on-call or telehealth requirement, and overtime is provided for extended shifts as outlined in the position details.
