Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO) - Summary- Full-time nocturnist opportunity within a dynamic hospitalist group
- Inpatient care focus in an open ICU setting
- Collaborative, supportive work environment with skilled APP support
- Flexible 7 on/7 off schedule (7p – 7a)

- Provide comprehensive inpatient care as a Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO), including admissions, rounding, and discharges
- Respond to rapid response calls and manage code situations as required
- Work collaboratively with APPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Manage an average of 8 admissions per shift
- Ensure continuity of care and clear communication within the medical team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- No procedures required in this position

- Board certified or board eligible (BE/BC) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure
- Active North Carolina medical license preferred, though not required at time of application

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Experienced in hospital medicine, open to both Internal Medicine and Family Medicine backgrounds
- Comfortable working overnight (nocturnist) and managing acute inpatient scenarios
