This role does not require procedural skills, but it does involve active participation in code responses and Rapid Response Team (RRT) activities. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient care for a diverse patient population under the hospitalist service
- Perform daily rounds for assigned patient panels during designated shifts

- Coordinate care with specialists in neurology, orthopedics, general surgery, cardiology, oncology, and gastroenterology
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation and order entry
- Work collaboratively with hospital staff, including physicians, nurses, and ancillary personnel
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices
- Assist in the management of patients within an open ICU setting

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active state license
- Active DEA registration or willingness to transfer
- Current ACLS certification
- Willingness to work 12-hour day or night shifts as scheduled
- Previous hospitalist or acute care experience preferred, but not required
