The role of Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) is a vital and rewarding position within inpatient care teams. Optigy is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their inpatient team. In this role, you will be responsible for admitting, rounding, and managing patients within a hospitalist service. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and high-quality care throughout their hospital stay. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

As a Hospitalist NP/PA, you will be expected to participate in flexible scheduling, including both day and night shifts, with shift times to be determined. There is no on-call requirement, and overtime is paid after 12 hours per day or 168 hours per week. Credentialing details will be provided during the onboarding process. This opportunity is well-suited to Nurse Practitioners with national NP certification (ANCC/AANP or equivalent) and Physician Assistants with national certification, both holding active licensure and a DEA registration in Mississippi. Prior inpatient or hospitalist experience is preferred, but providers with a strong interest in acute care medicine are encouraged to apply.
