Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including admission, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning for hospitalized patients.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage acute and chronic conditions in the hospital setting.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to hospital safety and care standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Engage in ongoing professional education and training as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and valid Board Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Active Alabama state license or eligibility for licensure required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Hospitalist or inpatient experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a varied patient caseload.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
