As a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for rounding on patients, managing admissions, conducting comprehensive assessments, and ensuring the highest standard of inpatient care. The work schedule consists of Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, providing a stable and predictable routine. The hospital utilizes Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) to streamline documentation and patient management processes, supporting efficient and effective care delivery. All standard hospitalist procedures are required, and you will have access to expedited onboarding for a swift transition into your new role.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hospitalist care for inpatients, including daily rounding, patient assessments, and care planning
- Perform all standard hospitalist procedures as required by the micro hospital setting
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists in seizures, respiratory, and gastroenterology
- Document patient care and clinical interventions in Cerner EMR system
- Coordinate with physician on-call backup for escalated cases or complex patient needs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Participate in rapid credentialing and onboarding processes for timely integration into the clinical team

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Texas (TX) state Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) required
- Active DEA registration in Texas or willingness to obtain/transfer
- Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Experience in hospitalist or acute care settings preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
