The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work closely with a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals, including attending physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary personnel. The primary responsibilities include managing admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning, ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive and coordinated care. An emphasis is placed on clear documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system, effective team communication, and responsiveness to the diverse medical needs of the adult inpatient population.
This full-time Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) role requires strong clinical acumen, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to function independently within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in acute and chronic disease management and demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practice. Candidates must possess an active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license, current board certification (ANCC or AANP), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Additional documentation, including a current TB test, valid driver’s license, Social Security card, and education diplomas, is required for credentialing. Candidates must also have a collaborating physician agreement on file in accordance with state regulations.

- Minimum of 24 months of recent inpatient experience as a Nurse Practitioner

- Proven experience in inpatient care, preferably as a hospitalist
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex medical cases
