Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients admitted to the hospital, including coordinating care plans and treatment strategies.
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure clarity and understanding throughout the patient’s stay.
- Document encounters and clinical decisions accurately and timely according to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with specialty consultants and ancillary services to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure appropriate discharge planning, including patient education and coordination with outpatient providers to facilitate seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, morbidity and mortality reviews, and continuing medical education.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in good standing.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and strong decision-making skills.
