- Combines clinical expertise with management responsibilities

- Acts as a liaison between advanced practice providers, physicians, and hospital administration
- Supervise and support advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs) in the hospitalist program
- Coordinate daily team assignments, schedules, and coverage to ensure optimal patient care

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training for new and current staff

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements

- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Advanced degree from an accredited program (MSN, DNP, or equivalent for NPs; Master's for PAs)
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience as an advanced practice provider in hospital medicine
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and implement process improvements
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory standards, and quality improvement methodologies
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Proven leader with a passion for advancing hospitalist medicine
- Experienced in managing or supervising NPs and PAs in an acute care setting
- Adept at balancing clinical and administrative duties
