Hematologist Oncologist (MD/DO) – Summary
- Full-time locum assignment with an approximate duration of 13 weeks

Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging, and biopsies
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, and supportive care as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Collaborate closely with other physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated, patient-centered care
- Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
- Document all patient interactions and clinical findings in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in tumor boards, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in hematology and oncology

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
- Active and unrestricted medical license (state-specific requirements may apply)
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in hematology and oncology clinical settings
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
