Hematologist Oncologist (MD/DO) - Summary
- Full-time, permanent opportunity for a Hematologist Oncologist (MD/DO)
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care for patients with hematological and oncological conditions
- Participate in the ongoing development of best practices and evidence-based protocols to advance patient outcomes

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases using evidence-based protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and support staff to optimize patient care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, bone marrow biopsies, and imaging studies
- Prescribe and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other advanced treatment modalities
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in continuing medical education and stay up to date with advances in Hematology/Oncology

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
- Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain in WA)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the diagnosis and management of hematologic and oncologic disorders
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
