The practice operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing you with predictable work hours and the opportunity to see up to 15 patients per day. While the position is primarily outpatient, there may be occasional hospital consults, though there are no inpatient admissions required.

Hematologist Oncologist Summary- Position: Hematologist Oncologist (Hematology/Oncology Physician, Hem/Onc)
- Employment Type: Full-time, Locum Tenens with option for permanent placement

- Practice Setting: 100% outpatient with occasional hospital consults
- Team: Work alongside four experienced Hem/Onc physicians
- Diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders and cancer, maintaining a balanced hematology and oncology caseload (50/50 split)
- Provide outpatient care, including evaluations, treatments, and follow-up visits
- Conduct hospital consults as needed (no inpatient admissions required)
- Collaborate closely with other Hematologist Oncologists, nurses, and support staff
- Utilize electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks) for patient documentation and care coordination
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including PET CT and ultrasound
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on best practices and current clinical guidelines
- Participate in call coverage as needed
