Healthcare Sales Representative - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed assigned territory growth objectives by developing new customer accounts and increasing business within existing accounts.
- Maintain a minimum of five active pipeline leads at all times to ensure a steady stream of potential new business.
- Conduct a minimum of four in-person sales or service calls per day, with flexibility as required by health guidelines and territory needs.
- Accurately record all sales and service activities daily using CRM software to ensure data integrity and effective pipeline management.
- Deliver on sales goals while managing expenses; submit expense reports on at least a monthly basis.
- Utilize effective prospecting techniques, networking, and lead generation tools to establish new customer relationships.
- Develop and manage strong, sustainable relationships with a diverse customer base, including key physicians and office staff.
- Provide regular updates to the Regional Sales Director regarding prospects, sales pipeline, and monthly volume forecasts.
- Attend local and national conferences and tradeshows to represent diagnostic services, generate leads, and network with industry professionals.
- Adhere to all HIPAA confidentiality requirements and promote laboratory services in compliance with applicable laws.
- Continuously enhance product and market knowledge through training and independent research to maintain a competitive edge.
- Work independently to organize territory, meet deadlines, and ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
- Engage in extensive daily travel and occasional overnight travel as needed to fulfill role requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key physicians and office staff.
- Demonstrated strong closing and cold calling skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and prior experience managing a large geographic territory.
- Commitment to aggressive volume growth objectives.
- Existing clinical contacts are desirable.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software platforms.

- Experience in medical, laboratory, or pharmaceutical sales preferred.
