Hardware Validation Engineer - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform system-level validation of memory (DDR5/DDR6) and interconnect (PCIe, CXL) products in server environments
- Conduct hardware bring-up and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing across operating systems, configurations, and workloads
- Debug and resolve issues at the hardware, firmware, and OS levels to identify root causes
- Develop detailed validation plans, create and run test cases, and design stress scenarios for robust product assessment
- Analyze test results to identify performance issues and collaborate with design teams to drive improvements
- Work alongside hardware design, firmware, and system teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Support customer environments, including occasional onsite support, to ensure product compatibility and performance
- Utilize scripting languages such as Python for test automation and data analysis

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware, system, or silicon validation
- Proven hands-on experience with hardware platforms, either in laboratory or server environments
- Strong debugging skills across hardware, firmware, and system layers
- Expertise in memory technologies (DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR, SRAM) and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, CXL, SerDes)
- Familiarity with storage technologies such as SSD and NVMe
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python, for automation and data analysis
- Experience with server platforms and Linux-based testing environments is preferred
- Exposure to BIOS/firmware (AMI or similar) and signal integrity concepts is a plus
