Gynecologic Oncologist (MD/DO) - Summary
- Full-time position for a board-certified or board-eligible physician specializing in gynecologic oncology
- Focus on diagnosis, treatment, and management of female reproductive cancers
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with access to advanced technology and resources
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers, including cervical, ovarian, uterine, and vulvar cancers
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct complex surgical procedures and minimally invasive treatments as appropriate
- Collaborate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in tumor boards, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care
- Engage in continuing education and maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in gynecologic oncology
- Document patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record
- Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement projects as desired

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology
- Board certification or board eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical documentation and clinical computer systems
