Gynecologic Oncologist (Gyn Onc Physician) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, as indicated.
- Develop individualized treatment plans integrating surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and radiation in conjunction with other specialists.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and nursing staff.
- Participate in tumor boards, case conferences, and clinical research initiatives as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, side effect management, and survivorship care.
- Maintain accurate, thorough medical records in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending relevant CME activities and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology required.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology (Gyn Onc).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Colorado, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Demonstrated expertise in gynecologic oncology surgery and patient-centered cancer care.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
