The role of Groundskeeper is vital to ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming appearance of apartment community environments. Groundskeepers are responsible for the daily care and maintenance of all exterior common areas, including sidewalks, courtyards, parking lots, trash enclosures, and walkways. Groundskeeper - Summary- Responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of exterior and common areas within apartment communities
- Performs routine cleaning, repairs, inspections, and safety monitoring
- Supports the overall resident experience by upholding high standards of property care
- Maintain exterior common areas such as sidewalks, courtyards, parking lots, trash enclosures, and walkways
- Empty and clean trash and recycling areas; remove debris and litter from grounds
- Sweep and pressure-wash exterior surfaces and common areas as needed
- Perform basic exterior maintenance and repairs including fencing, signage, trash cans, and lighting fixtures
- Operate and maintain non-landscaping equipment such as pavement sweepers, blowers, and pressure washers
- Monitor and report safety hazards, property damage, vandalism, and maintenance needs to management
- Assist with move-in/move-out clean-ups, event setups, and special projects
- Follow all property safety, appearance, and sustainability standards
