Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness for large-scale datasets, focusing on geospatial data.
- Design and integrate new spatial datasets into existing data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and transformation.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on spatial or geospatial data.
- Proficiency in Big Data technologies, including SQL, Python, Spark or Scala, and AWS services such as S3, EMR, Step Functions, and Airflow.
- Extensive experience with spatial/geospatial data platforms such as PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server Spatial, or BigQuery GIS.
- Knowledge of data encryption, transformation, and optimization for cost-effective cloud computing.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues, improve data processes, and implement industry best practices.
