Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for geriatric patients
- Manage a hybrid clinical caseload including inpatient, outpatient, emergency consults, and collaborative care settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate holistic care
- Work closely with psychiatric APPs, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs targeting older adults
- Provide consult liaison services as needed
- Educate patients, families, and staff on geriatric mental health topics
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
- Interest or experience in Geriatric Psychiatry highly preferred
- Current, unrestricted medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
