Working as a Generator Technician, you will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, focusing on providing both routine maintenance and emergency services for a diverse range of power generation equipment. By diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing generators and their supporting systems, you ensure that essential services remain uninterrupted for countless individuals and businesses. Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing, repairing, modifying, and rebuilding standby power generators and fire pump drivers. You will be tasked with performing failure analysis, emergency field service, and repairs for customers, often on a variety of power generation equipment brands. The role requires a strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and diesel engines, as well as proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and software. Additionally, Generator Technicians must manage service trucks and maintain an accurate parts inventory, all while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.

- Experience servicing generators ranging from 8.5kw to 3500kw preferred.
- EGSA Certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and diesel engines.
- Proficient with computers and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Open to candidates from trainee to experienced technician levels.
- Technically skilled with hands-on experience in generator maintenance and repair.
