General Manager – QSR Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager – QSR to oversee daily operations at our fast-paced, high-volume quick service restaurant. This full-time position is available in Los Angeles, specifically in the Chatsworth and Canoga Park areas. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, food safety, and customer satisfaction to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the location.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and operational procedures, maintaining top-tier food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Effectively manage labor and food costs through strategic scheduling, inventory control, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth, increased operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Implement and execute marketing and promotional campaigns designed to drive guest traffic and grow sales.
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members, providing ongoing development and creating a pipeline for internal growth and leadership succession.
- Maintain a strong, supportive presence on the restaurant floor to guide the team and engage with guests, ensuring an exceptional overall experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume quick service restaurant (QSR) environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing restaurant operations, leading teams, and achieving or exceeding financial performance targets.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff at all levels.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, adapting quickly to changing demands.
- Solid knowledge of profit and loss (P&L) management, labor planning, and inventory control best practices.
