General Manager
Jetson Home is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead branch operations and drive business growth in our newest market. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for building, developing, and overseeing all aspects of branch operations, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. As General Manager, you will manage all operational aspects, from team recruitment and leadership to financial oversight and strategic planning. You will play a crucial role in upholding Jetson Home’s mission to transition homes toward sustainable energy use. Your leadership will shape the success of the branch by fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

General Manager - Summary- Lead all aspects of branch operations for Jetson Home in a new market
- Build and manage a team of HVAC technicians, electricians, and administrative staff
- Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with company goals
- Ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with headquarters and cross-functional teams to drive business growth
- Oversee daily branch operations, including scheduling, installations, service calls, quality control, and safety compliance
- Recruit, hire, and lead a high-performing team of skilled professionals
- Mentor and develop staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, ensuring quality and performance standards are met
- Establish partnerships with local utilities, contractors, and community organizations
- Gather market insights and manage local regulatory, permitting, and compliance matters, including relevant contractor licensing requirements
- Work closely with HQ teams in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
- Utilize data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and achieve corporate objectives
- Provide regular financial and operational reports to the executive leadership team

- State Contractor License or demonstrated eligibility and commitment to obtain it (required for Responsible Managing Employee)
- Proven experience managing a field force of technicians, installers, or skilled trades professionals
- Experience with P&L responsibility in a business or division
- Track record of building and developing high-performing teams from the ground up
- Strong leadership, team management, and coaching abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Proficiency with business software, CRM systems, and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI to improve operations
- Background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar residential home improvement fields (preferred)
- Additional relevant licenses (HVACR Master Contractor, Statewide Master Electrician, or county electrician licenses) are a strong advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area
- Compliance with OSHA Electrical Standard and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements
