General Dentist (DDS/DMD) - Summary- Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for a diverse patient population.
- Perform a wide range of preventive and restorative dental procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team in a mission-focused environment.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local dental practice regulations.
- Ensure ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
- Conduct detailed dental examinations and accurately diagnose oral health conditions.
- Create individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient health and comfort.
- Deliver preventive care, such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Perform restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and basic oral surgeries.
- Evaluate dental radiographs and other diagnostics to guide treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA and state regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive strategies, and treatment options.
- Refer patients to specialists when advanced care is needed.
- Manage follow-up care and dental maintenance plans for ongoing patient health.
- Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
- Maintain valid licensure, certifications, and required registrations (DEA, NPI).
- Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
- Supervise and mentor auxiliary dental staff as appropriate.
- Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement projects, and peer reviews.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education.
- Support efficient clinic operations by managing scheduling and treatment flow.
- Help maintain dental equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
- Graduate from a dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as a dentist.
- Board eligible or board certified, as required.
- Active DEA registration number and 10-digit NPI number.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC.
- Certified in radiography.
- At least one year of full-time experience in dental practice or recent graduation from an accredited postgraduate dental training program.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry and patient care.
