General Dentist (DDS, DMD) Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a General Dentist (DDS, DMD) seeking to join a reputable, procedure-focused dental practice in KS. The practice is committed to providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to adults, utilizing the latest technology and maintaining a patient-focused approach. The General Dentist (DDS, DMD) will work in a collaborative, supportive environment with a highly skilled dental team, ensuring quality and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality dental care to a broad patient population, including pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures in a fast-paced, procedure-heavy practice.
- Collaborate with a team of six full-time dental hygienists, five full-time superscalars, CRNAs, and an office staff, typically supported by three assistants per dentist.
- Utilize advanced dental technology, including 3D x-ray and 3D scanning equipment, to enhance diagnostic and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EagleSoft EMR software.
- Work within standard practice hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, including providing oral sedation for pediatric and adult patients when certified.
- Participate in continuing education and in-house training to stay current with emerging techniques and procedures.
- Support the practice’s patient-centered mission by fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment for all patients and team members.
Qualifications
- Active Kansas (KS) dental license and DEA certification are required.
- Certification in oral sedation for pediatric and adult patients, or willingness to obtain this certification upon hiring.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and contributing positively to the practice culture and team dynamics.
- Open to both recent graduates and experienced General Dentists (DDS, DMD).
- Willingness to learn new dental techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.

No after-hours call responsibilities are required, supporting a balanced work-life schedule for General Dentists (DDS, DMD).
