This General Anesthesiologist (MD, DO) role encompasses a diverse caseload, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, bariatrics, robotics, plastics, GI, gynecology, pediatric dental, pediatric ENT, and interventional radiology. Providers are primarily tasked with delivering anesthesia for scheduled elective and emergent cases, with back-up call responsibilities only. There is an option to take on additional call coverage for increased compensation, allowing flexibility and earning potential tailored to your preferences.

General Anesthesiologist (MD, DO) – Summary
- Full-time, permanent 1099 contractor position
- Join a collaborative team of independently practicing MDs and CRNAs
- Broad case mix including general, ortho, ENT, bariatrics, robotics, plastics, GI, GYN, pediatrics, and interventional radiology

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, bariatrics, robotics, plastics, gastrointestinal, gynecology, pediatric dental, pediatric ENT, and interventional radiology
- Collaborate closely with CRNAs and other anesthesiologists, each practicing independently to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Ensure safe anesthesia administration across all patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients
- Participate in back-up call coverage with the option to increase compensation by taking additional call
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records in accordance with industry and facility standards
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive annual compensation in the range of $440,000 to $460,000
- Sign-on/relocation bonus options: $40,000 for a 24-month commitment or $20,000 for a 12-month commitment
- 42 weeks of work per year, with 10 weeks off
- Additional compensation for work above the 43-week obligation: $1,900 per shift
- Quarterly bonuses based on established performance metrics
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Unrestricted medical license or eligibility to obtain a license
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
