Gastroenterologist (MD, DO) - Summary- Provide expert care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain clinical excellence.
- Engage with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding digestive health.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform endoscopic and other diagnostic procedures as clinically indicated.
- Interpret diagnostic test results and collaborate on complex case management with other medical professionals.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies to manage acute and chronic GI disorders.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices within the gastroenterology department.

- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Current and valid medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist (MD, DO).
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
