Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with digestive system disorders, including conditions of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder
- Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures, colonoscopies, and other diagnostic tests
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and peer review processes
- Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology by attending CME activities and conferences

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology required
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist (MD/DO)
- Completion of an accredited gastroenterology fellowship program
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
