Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with disorders of the digestive system, including conditions related to the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, biopsies, and imaging studies
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the latest clinical guidelines and patient needs
- Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for chronic and acute gastrointestinal conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including surgeons, oncologists, and nutritionists, to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families about digestive health, preventive measures, and treatment options

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
