Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) - Summary- Permanently assigned, full-time clinical role specializing in gastroenterology
- Located in GA with opportunities for rotational shifts

- Diagnose and manage a spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders and conditions
- Perform endoscopic and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as indicated
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices and patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, surgery, oncology, and primary care
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in quality improvement and continuing medical education initiatives
- Provide consultative services to referring physicians as needed
