The Gastroenterologist (GI Specialist) role focuses on diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. The outpatient practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, allowing you to perform routine endoscopic procedures and provide specialized care tailored to the needs of each patient. Candidates with advanced technical skills, such as proficiency in ERCP, or those with unique areas of expertise, will find their interests highly valued within the team.
In addition to outpatient responsibilities, the Gastroenterologist (GI Specialist) will provide hospital consultative services, collaborating closely with the Hospitalist Service for inpatient care. Access to advanced imaging, interventional services, and local surgical procedures ensures comprehensive patient management. Complex or high-risk cases benefit from partnerships with tertiary care centers in Boston, enabling seamless referrals and continuity of care.
The endoscopy suite, housed within the office complex, is fully staffed with experienced nursing, anesthesia, and pathology professionals. For higher-risk procedures, local hospital outpatient suites are utilized to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The practice also supports a robust network of over 40 primary care physicians and a variety of other specialists, fostering a collegial and referral-rich environment. In-house laboratory and imaging capabilities further enhance patient care and diagnostic efficiency.
